Band War is a high-energy competition where student bands battle it out, showcasing their musical talent, creativity, and originality. Each band performs a set of songs, demonstrating their skills in various genres such as rock, pop, jazz, or fusion. The competition is not just about musical talent but also about stage presence, composition, and how well the band connects with the audience. From intricate guitar riffs to powerful drumming, Band Wars is a thrilling showcase of teamwork and musical prowess, where bands compete to leave a lasting impression with their energy and performance.

Rules:

• Group Size: The band must contain at least 1 vocalist and at max 2 vocalists
• Content Restrictions: Avoid inappropriate language or themes.
• Practice: Ensure all band members are well-prepared and practice together to refine
  the performance. Synchronize your timing, dynamics, and transitions.
• Soundcheck: Arrive early for a soundcheck to test the audio setup, ensuring that all
  instruments are balanced, and the sound quality is optimal.
• Engage the Audience: Show energy and confidence on stage. Judges will be looking
  for not just musical talent, but also your ability to connect with the audience.
• Synchronized Performance: Work together as a group with clear coordination.
• Visual Impact: Dress in a way that suits your band’s style and avoid inappropriate
  dresses
• Instruments: Only a standard 5-piece drum kit will be provided to you by the venue;
  rest all the instruments should be carried by the band. Ensure all instruments are in
  working order.
• Performance Duration: Stick to the performance time limit set by the competition,
  that is 25 to 30 minutes including the sound check. Exceeding the time limit may result
  in disqualification or penalties.
• Technical Skill: Judges will evaluate individual musicianship, precision, and
  proficiency on your instruments.
• Creativity and Originality: Originality in composition and unique interpretations of
  songs will be considered.
• Band Cohesion: How well the band members work together and perform as a unit is
  important.
• Respectful Conduct: Be respectful to judges, other competitors, and event organizers.
  Maintain a professional attitude throughout the event.
• Following Instructions: Abide by all the instructions given by the competition
  organizers, such as backstage conduct, timing, and stage setup.
