1. General Information:
Mode: Classic Battle Royale
Maximum Teams per Match: 25
Map Pool: All 4 classic maps
Format: Best of 1
Map Selection: selected by organizers.
Note : Teams should be formed from same university. No Inter-University teams allowed (GEU Team will not have members from GEHU and vice-versa)
Solo Registrations will be allotted random teams.
2. Tournament structure:
- Matches will be played in a Battle Royale, knockout format.
- Each team will get to play at least 2 matches before the semi-final.
- The total number of points earned by the team in both the matches combined will be considered for the qualification.
- The semi-final and the final will also be played in two parts. The total points earned by the team in both of the matches combined will determine the winners.
3. Match Rules:
- Teams must be ready within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time.
- The match will last about half an hour.
- Pauses: No pauses are allowed once the match has started.
- Match Restarts: A match restart will only be considered in cases of extreme technical failures (e.g., server crash). The final decision will be taken by the admins.
- Device Issues: Players are responsible for ensuring their devices and network connections are functioning properly. Matches will not be delayed due to individual player issues.
- Disconnects: If a player disconnects, they may rejoin the match, but the game will not be paused or restarted.
3. Fair Play and Conduct:
IMPORTANT: Players will have to record their screens during the entire game.
- IGL will have to take a screenshot of the result.
- The use of cheats, scripts, or third-party applications to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Teaming up with opponents in an unfair manner is not allowed and will result in disqualification.
- Toxicity, offensive behavior, hate speech, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct will lead to penalties, including warnings, disqualification, or bans from future events.
- Players must follow all admin decisions at all times. Admins have the final say in any disputes.
4. Penalties and Disqualifications:
- Late Arrivals: If a team is more than 10 minutes late, they will be disqualified from the match.
- Rule Violations: Breaking any tournament rules will result in penalties ranging from warnings to immediate disqualification, depending on the severity.
- Match Protests: Teams may submit protests regarding rule violations within 15 minutes after the match ends. The tournament admins will review and make the final decision.
