Rules:
Song Selection: Choose a song that suits your vocal range, showcases your strengths, and fits
the competition’s theme or requirements. Ensure the song is well-practiced.
Time Limits: Adhere to the specified time limit for your performance. Time frame is 4-5
minutes and exceeding it may result in penalties.
Originality: While you may choose popular songs, it’s often encouraged to add your own
unique style or interpretation to stand out.
Dress Code: Follow the competition’s dress guidelines. Your appearance should reflect
professionalism and match the tone of your performance.
Accompaniment: The competition allows up to 4 accompanists or a backing track, ensuring its
properly prepared.
Judging Criteria: Understand the judging criteria, which typically include vocal technique,
stage presence, emotion, and originality.
Rehearsal and Preparation: Prepare well in advance, including vocal warm-ups and
rehearsing under performance conditions.
Stay Calm and Confident: Nerves are normal, but focus on your performance, stay calm, and
engage with the audience.
Music and Sound: Ensure that your backing track is properly prepared and formatted
according to the competition’s requirements in the best quality. Have a backup of your music in
case of technical difficulties.
