General Information:
Mode: Competitive 5v5
Map Pool: Active competitive map pool
Note : Teams should be formed from same university. No Inter-University teams allowed (GEU Team will not have members from GEHU and vice-versa)
Solo Registrations will be allotted random teams.
Tournament structure:
- The starting rounds will be played in swift play mode.
- It will have 4 round halves and the first to 5 rounds wins. The games will be best of 1.
- The semifinal will be played in standard mode, best of 1, first to 13.
- The final will be played in standard mode as well, best of 3, first to 13.
Map Selection: Ban-pick method
Server Selection: Decided by tournament organizers
Game Rules:
Match Start:
- Teams must be ready within 10 minutes of the scheduled time
- Overtime: Standard Valorant overtime rules
- A swiftplay match will last for a maximum of 20 minutes.
- A standard match will last for about 30-45 minutes.
- Time will be extended in case of overtime.
Match Delays:
- Failure to show up within 10 minutes = Forfeit
- Matches will not be rescheduled for incomplete teams
Pauses:
- Tactical Pause: 1 timeout per half (60 seconds), Can only be called during freeze time
- Technical Pause: Allowed for tech issues (hardware failure, disconnects). Max 5 minutes, then match resumes.
- Unauthorized pauses will result in penalties
Fair Play & Conduct:
- Cheating & Exploits: Immediate disqualification for using cheats, scripts, or exploits
- Toxicity: Offensive behavior will result in penalties or bans
- Respect Admin Decisions: Admin decisions are final and must be followed
- Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Match delays, false reporting, or unfair play will result in penalties
Disputes & Penalties:
- Report issues immediately after the match
- Admins’ decision is final
- Rule violations will result in warnings, forfeits, or disqualification
