Total Duration and Timeline:

The workshop will be conducted over three levels, with the following timeline:

  • Level 1: Crime Scene & Storyline Introduction (30 minutes)
  • Level 2: Clue Collection & Analysis (60 minutes)
  • Level 3: Presentation & Justification (60 minutes)

Recommended For:

– Students interested in CID, forensic science, crime scene investigation, and problem-solving.

Guidelines for Students:

  • Teams must consist of 3-5 members
  • Participants must wear gloves when handling analysis kits
  • Teams must document each clue with photos/notes

Pre-requisites for Participants:

  • No prior experience required

Requirements to be Brought by Participants:

  • None required

Outcome of the Workshop:

  • Understanding of forensic science and crime scene investigation techniques
  • Development of problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

  • Level 3: Find the culprit (60 minutes) DAY 3

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Accuracy of culprit ID: 30 points
  • Clue analysis: 40 points
  • Presentation clarity: 20 points
  • Time management: 10 points
