Rules:
- Group Size and Category: Ensure your group meets the minimum 5 members and
maximum 14 members size requirements set by the competition. - Song Selection: Choose a song that fits the dance style and meets competition guidelines
regarding music content. Competition will have restrictions on song choices that is using
vulgar and explicit songs are strictly prohibited. - Time Limits: Adhere to the competition’s time limit for your performance. The routine
should be well-rehearsed to fit within the specified time frame that is 7 to 8 minutes. - Choreography: The choreography should be original or appropriately credited if using
another choreographer’s work. The routine should be well-coordinated and allow all
dancers to showcase their skills. - Costume and Appearance: Follow the competition’s dress code. Costumes should reflect
the dance style, be appropriate for all dancers, and provide freedom of movement. Avoid
overly distracting or inappropriate costumes. - Props and Stage Usage: If props are used, ensure they comply with the competition’s
guidelines and are safe to use and must not have any potential harm on any performers,
audience or venue. - Rehearsals: The group should rehearse together thoroughly to ensure synchronization,
timing, and smooth transitions. Dancers should be familiar with the routine and cues. - Accompaniment and Music: Prepare your music in advance, making sure it’s formatted
according to the competition’s specifications and are in best quality possible. Have a backup
of the music in case of technical difficulties. - Performance Area: Stay within the designated performance area and do all the essential
markings at the time of run through.
