StratovateX: National Management Hackathon

StratovateX is a premier national-level hackathon designed to empower future business leaders with hands-on problem-solving experience. This one-day intensive event challenges management students, entrepreneurs, and professionals to devise innovative, tech-driven solutions for real-world business problems across AI, FinTech, HR, Marketing, and Sustainability.

Participants will have the opportunity to solve industry-curated case studies in dynamic teams while gaining insights from academic and corporate mentors. The event provides a platform to showcase cutting-edge ideas through competitive pitching and network with peers, startups, and industry leaders.

The StratovateX Hackathon is a one-day national event designed to bring together management students across India to develop AI-driven solutions for next-generation enterprises. The event will be held at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun on May 2nd, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with window period of 2 hours before initiation of the event. Participants will engage in collaborative problem-solving while leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies such as Python, MATLAB, SPSS, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and R Studio etc.

Each team can consist of one to four members (one member must have basic knowledge of AI and DS), and cross-functional collaboration is encouraged to ensure a diverse approach to problem-solving. The hackathon will present participants with problem statements related to finance, HR, marketing, and sustainability, requiring them to build a business-oriented, AI-driven solution within the allotted timeframe.

Participants will be challenged to develop AI-driven solutions for one of the following real-world business challenges, categorized under key themes:

All teams must submit a final project comprising a functional prototype and a structured presentation outlining their methodology, data utilization, and business impact. Each team will be assessed continuously throughout the event, followed by a Q&A session. Adherence to ethical practices is mandatory, and any team found guilty of plagiarism, misconduct, or failure to submit on time will face disqualification.

Evaluation Metrics

Projects will be evaluated based on a predefined set of judging criteria, with the following weightage:
